I could interview students and teachers about Chinese New Year--- how much do they know about it and how they think about this culture.
I could interview students and faculty about their opinions on snowdays and increase numbers of snowstorms this year.
I could do a news about the new custom bowls in cafeteria---about how students like it, and how the staff in cafeteria think about this product.
Our news story is about senior pranks.We first tried to interview Nancy Biller. I wasn't here during the first interview with her, but I heard about the sound was pretty bad. So we went to shoot the second interview. We carefully set up the cameras and the light, but as we finished the second interview, we soon realized we didn't open the rode mic again. Checking the rode mic should definitely be the first thing on our checklist since now on. We then immediately started the third interview with Nancy, we checked the mic, the light, the angle of the camera--all perfect. However, as soon as we uploaded the video, we realized our video was out of focus.
After the interview with Nancy, we also tried to contact Mr.Cirelli, but he didn't reply back our email for a few days, there was once we went to find him in person, he was not in the office either. Mr. Cirelli told us he didn't want to involve in the video, so we had to contact Ms.Kenny. Due to the snowday and the changed schedule, we could not meet with Ms. Kenny before the break. But we immediately interviewed her on the first day after the break. She offered us a great idea about interview the student who apologized at assembly but now is the designer of BBA. We are now continuing to edit the interview and waiting to interview the designer.
